Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary
Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary derives its name from Nandini village. The Wildlife Sanctuary is a host of rare and endangered species of mammals and birds. It supports 8 species of mammals which include leopard, wild boar, grey langur, bharal and rhesus monkey and a wide variety of birds like Indian mynah, cheer pheasant, red junglefowl, Indian peafowl, blue rock pigeon and chakor flock here in large numbers, making it a favourite haunt of birdwatchers and ornithologists.. Much acclaim has been accorded to the Nandini Sanctuary, famous for its diversity of wildlife and best known for wonderful species of pheasants.
